Sarasota Landscaping & Design Sarasota Landscaping & Design recently completed a bold landscaping that took an average outdoor space and turned it into a spectacular oasis in the heart of Sarasota. Founded in the great cities of Bradenton, Fruitville, The Meadows, Lakewood Ranch, and Venice, we renovated this property because the surroundings were breathtaking, and our clients wanted theirs to match. The was a carefully curated design that included a variety of native plants, drought-tolerant flowers, and a hardscape. We sourced our materials locally, like the stone we used for walkways, outdoor fire pits, and for the raised garden beds, to ensure all components would match the quality and match the style of the design. Adding a water feature to the design was a way to immerse the client in the experience of nature as if they were on a nature trail rather than a residential property. One of the more significant challenges we overcame was the site’s uneven terrain. Grading the landscape was a breeze for our experienced team to execute, but moving dirt to ensure proper drainage and create planting zones required some ingenuity. A temporary ditch to divert water away from the site slowed down planting but was necessary for plant success. Our organic amendments were placed to assist with soil quality, and the result was a beautifully diverse landscape. The final landscape coordinated functionality with beauty. Greenery, color, and seating sets the tone for relaxation and enjoyment. The client was happy with the outcome and told us the exceeded his expectations for an area where family will gather and enjoy themselves outdoors.
