About This Project

The Spa Bathroom in Arden represents a transformative journey from an outdated 1980s space to a serene retreat that harmonizes modern design with classic elegance. The original bathroom was burdened with dated oak cabinets and a non-functioning corner Jacuzzi tub, which detracted from its potential. Our approach began with a thoughtful reconfiguration of the layout, where the original shower space was converted into a stylish water closet, enhancing privacy and functionality. Flanking this new water closet are custom His and Her vanities, tailored to the clients’ needs, with the His vanity boasting a height of 42 inches to accommodate the client’s tall stature. The centerpiece of the bathroom is a stunning corner shower adorned with a band of contrasting clay brick that beautifully contrasts with the classic subway tile, adding a touch of sophistication to the space. Replacing the old vinyl flooring, we selected a lovely octagon tile featuring gray keystones, which evokes the desired Victorian aesthetic that the clients envisioned. This flooring choice not only contributes to the bathroom's ambiance but also offers durability and timeless style. A beautiful cast iron clawfoot tub now graces the area by the window, replacing the former Jacuzzi, and invites relaxation while providing a picturesque view. To complete the look, we chose Sherwin Williams Topsail paint, which bathes the room in a calming hue, enhancing the spa-like atmosphere. Every detail, from the craftsmanship of the custom vanities to the elegant fixtures, was meticulously executed to ensure a cohesive and inviting design. The outcome is a luxurious spa bathroom that blends functionality with beauty, providing the clients with a rejuvenating space to unwind and enjoy. This project not only revitalized an aging space but also fulfilled the clients' vision of a serene sanctuary within their home.
