Rigsby Garden Center SILVERADO LAWN & LANDSCAPING is excited to exhibit the remarkable renovation of the Rigsby Garden Center, an exceptional landscaping that captures our commitment to quality, creativity, and satisfaction. We service Cedar Hill, DeSoto, Glenn Heights, Grand Prairie, Mansfield, Midlothian, Oak Leaf, Ovilla, Venus, and Waxahachie; and took on the of enhancing this commercial facility to make it their own beautiful and inviting garden center. The started with a site analysis to determine the best landscaping possibilities. By examining the site's layout and its surroundings, we were able to consider the ecology of the center while developing appropriate landscaping solutions. We used a wide variety of native plants for their intrinsic benefits including sustainability and growth potential. Our and design team selected decorative stone pathways, natural timber borders, and mulch products that not only improved aesthetics, but also contributed to the health of the soil. One of the challenges that we faced was working with uneven ground and existing infrastructure. As in any successful outdoor , planning was essential. Building drainage systems in advance helped to reorganize the surface water and made it possible to respect the terrain. The skilled crew was able to flatten and contour the area preparing it for a multi-level water feature, which encouraged ponding behind the waterfall while at the same time allowing for drainage in an organized fashion. This water feature included a pond, fountain and waterfall which provided an elevated ambience for shoppers and attracted nearby wildlife to the community space. The final outcome is a beautiful garden center that blends into its native surroundings while providing and inviting space for local commuters and shoppers to enjoy. The has introduced a plant community with multi-layers, including a variety of decorative trees, shrubs and flowers that have their own unique colours and shapes. Comfortable benches have been placed to entice shoppers and the landscaping has begun to flourish in its first season. The client was pleased with the outcome and commented on how well the beautified the area while enhancing the usefulness of the garden center.
