The Sunset Kitchen project beautifully transformed an older beach bungalow located in Panama City Beach, Florida, into a spacious and inviting culinary haven. The initial layout featured a coat closet and pantry that obstructed the flow of natural light, creating a cramped atmosphere. By removing this dividing element, we opened up the area, allowing sunlight to cascade into the space and highlighting the stunning vaulted ceilings. The removal of the closet not only enhanced the light but also created a fantastic baking area, perfect for culinary enthusiasts. In terms of design choices, our team focused on a beach-style aesthetic that complements the bungalow's coastal charm. The color palette features soft, sandy hues, accented by crisp whites, capturing the essence of seaside living. The cabinetry was meticulously crafted to provide ample storage while maintaining a streamlined appearance. We installed cabinets on both sides of the newly opened space, ensuring the kitchen remains functional and clutter-free. The cabinetry is complemented by high-quality hardware that adds an elegant touch to the overall design.
