This whole house renovation in Wilmington, NC, was designed to revitalize an older home, transforming it into a modern and functional space for a young and growing family. The project focused on creating an open floor plan that seamlessly connects the main living areas, enhancing both functionality and flow. By removing walls that previously segmented the space, we established a bright and airy environment, perfect for family gatherings and entertaining. The newly designed kitchen serves as the heart of the home, featuring crisp white cabinets that provide a fresh and clean aesthetic. Accompanied by stainless steel appliances and luxurious quartz countertops, this space combines style with practicality. A custom dry bar adjacent to the kitchen enhances the functionality, while a cozy eating nook showcases meticulously crafted bench cabinetry, inviting family meals in an intimate setting. The raised bar, constructed from elegant Bamboo, is highlighted by oil-rubbed bronze pendant lights that add warmth and sophistication. Throughout the home, we installed new hardwood flooring that contributes to the overall elegance of the design. The introduction of a 10 Lite French door not only enhances natural light but also creates an inviting transition between indoor and outdoor spaces. Each room received a fresh coat of Benjamin Moore paint, with unique touches such as horizontal stripes in the guest bedroom that add character and charm. The master bath underwent a stunning transformation as well, featuring a revamped shower adorned with floor-to-ceiling glass tiles that exude luxury and modernity.
