Summary: Putting Green - Backyard #1 RugZoom Synthetic Grass & Landscaping proudly completed the "Putting Green - Backyard #1" in the middle of the Chicago suburbs, turning an average outdoor space into an extraordinary recreational space. The custom-designed putting green came in at over 500 square feet and utilized synthetic turf that has the desirable characteristics of natural grass, including appearance, feel, playability, durability, and low maintenance. And of course, you can use it year-round. To allow for full use of the green, our design included undulating contours and strategically placed sand traps to provide a true golfing experience right in the back yard. We worked with the client to address all challenges such as uneven ground, limited drainage options, and layout design/boundaries (fences, trees, etc). One of the challenges was ensuring proper drainage and leveling the ground. We addressed drainage by installing a drain system to prevent water accumulation, allowing for a smooth consistent playable surface regardless of weather conditions. Our installation included commercial grade materials, superior quality turf, edging, eco-friendly infill, and warranty, etc. Our design included decorative boulders and native plant landscaping that fit the setting and complimented the aesthetic to promote an inviting environment to enjoy with family and friends. The end product was and is a stunning, playing surface beyond the client's expectation that enhaced the landscape while improving the enjoyment for avid golfers socializing in various outdoor experiences and gatherings with family and friends. The putting green fits naturally within the backyard creating a seamless extension of RugZoom's high-quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, regardless of where you are in Chicago or anywhere else in the country, we give life to dreams, one backyard at a time.
