In the heart of Ann Arbor, the Lower Level Love project transformed a previously underutilized basement into a stunning multipurpose retreat. The clients envisioned a space that would not only enhance their home's functionality but also serve as a personal getaway, and the design achieved just that. At the back of this expansive area, a new spare bedroom was created, providing a serene escape for guests or family. This room is conveniently adjacent to a meticulously remodeled full bath, previously completed by Meadowlark Design Build, ensuring both comfort and privacy. The centerpiece of the lower level is a custom-built media center that seamlessly integrates entertainment and aesthetics. This focal point features a television surrounded by bespoke oak speakers, enhancing the audio-visual experience while offering multiple inlets for decor and storage. The craftsmanship on display highlights the attention to detail and quality that Meadowlark is known for, making it a striking element of the design. Adjacent to the media center is a spacious kitchenette, thoughtfully designed to echo the main floor's kitchen with its unique half-moon cabinet curvature.
