In the picturesque coastal town of Avalon, New Jersey, we embarked on an exciting project to transform a newly built home into a vibrant sanctuary for a family of five. With the ocean just blocks away, the clients envisioned a space that exuded a Coastal Beach Chic aesthetic, balancing both elegance and a playful atmosphere suitable for their three young daughters and entertaining guests. The scope of this project encompassed a comprehensive furnishing and decorating effort, where each room was meticulously curated to reflect the family’s lifestyle and the surrounding beach environment. To achieve the desired look, we selected a harmonious palette of soft blues, sandy neutrals, and crisp whites, evoking the serene beauty of the nearby shore. The living spaces were designed to be both inviting and functional, incorporating durable materials that could withstand the wear and tear of family life. Custom furniture pieces were crafted with comfort in mind, featuring plush upholstery and ample seating to accommodate gatherings. The dining area was enhanced with a large, rustic table made from reclaimed wood, perfect for family meals and friend-filled evenings. In the bedrooms, we artfully combined whimsical elements with sophisticated touches. Each daughter’s room was personalized with playful decor, while still maintaining the overarching theme of coastal charm. High-quality linens and carefully chosen accessories added layers of texture and warmth, making each space feel like a cozy retreat.
