Ocean blue pools and landscaping pools and spas The Pools and Spas from Ocean Blue Pools and Landscaping used a spa-like inspired theme to turn a sparse backyard into an entertainment oasis in the heart of the San Diego County area. Our bespoke pool and spa design was custom-tailored for this home to create a natural flowing look and feel that also makes it a perfect escape for the homeowners. Significant aspects of this consist of a lovely infinity-edge swimming pool, and as the pool uses durable glass tiles, the glass tiles will reflect the brighter colours of the near trees and flora surround the swimming pool beautifully. We installed a spa with state-of-the art hydrotherapy jets and positioned it for sunset views as the inviting end to a day the ultimate place to unwind. We used natural stone coping around the pool, and the large travertine deck surrounding it provided beauty and function. The slope of the land was one other challenge we overcame, with innovative engineering solutions to ensure surface drainage and stabilisation. We had the site expertly graded by our team, which included the addition of retaining walls and native plant landscaping to not only prevent erosion, but to beautify the whole area. Sustainable plant selection: Drought-resistant plants were selected that fit in the plan, while reducing water usage and maintenance. Above all, the final product surpassed the homeowners expectations providing them a space to entertain and enjoy outdoors.
