Set in the scenic location of Myrtle Beach, this embodies the true nature of upscale and peaceful stay guests look for in a top-quality resort. Using predominantly sustainable and native plant species, our team ensured minimal environmental impact. The landscape, featuring ornamental grasses and flowering shrubs, was selected not just for looks but for the coastal setting where it could flourish. Graceful natural stone paths wind through the property, beckoning visitors to take in the verdant plantings and peaceful water features that include a koi pond that mirrors the surroundings. The topography of the site also varied as it lead into the sandy soil conditions we encountered. The varying elevations and drought conditions presented challenges, but our talented landscape architects worked around these issues by installing an extensive drainage system and using drought resistant plants to maintain a green landscape without using excessive water. Abstract Natural boulders and locally available organic mulch added texture and interest, softening the organic landscape design within the natural surroundings. What followed was a magical space that complements our guests while providing an oasis. The client was amazed with the before and after, commenting that every outdoor space was crafted so as to provide the ideal setting for guests to unwind or recharge.
