Before & After A Transformation by Aj’s Landscaping and Design Aj’s Landscaping and Design is thrilled to present the ‘Before & After’ , a majestic transformation that truly captures our devotion to premier landscaping solutions. Located within the heart of Houston, this involved the landscaping of a residential property, old and weary, losing its appeal. Our specialists kicked off with the overall assessment of the existing landscape. In short, the property was overwhelmed with overgrown shrubs, bulky and old-fashioned stone pathways, with no unity in landscape design. The ultimate aim of the was to create a coherent exterior area, united by function and beauty. First, we made use of a selection of Houston’s native plants that not only fit the climate best but are also sustainable, essentially low-cost in terms of maintenance. We planted a vibrant mix of perennials and ornamental grasses and trees sensibly spaced to provide composed shadow. To support this abundant greenery, we added a richly looking paver patio, equipped with carefully designed high-quality material to withstand time and pressure. Notably, the first obstacle was the terrain, as the property flooded quickly, leaving muddy residuum. We managed to implement grading which provided stable water flow alongside resulting in a magnificent ensemble of layers. In addition, a stylish stone retaining wall was installed to add authenticity to the . The outcome surpassed the customer’s expectations, significantly contributing to the property's overall appeal. The unfamiliar and once unreached areas are now accessible due to enchanting pathways, the property preserved greenery that blooms all year, and the wayside patio is the perfectly refined central element. The proportional balance is largely satisfied by the rich-looking stone retaining wall. The ambitions of the property owners have been met as they did possess an attractive and functional garden, increasing the price of their house and their quality of living.
