About This Project

Putting Green by EMCO Landscaping At EMCO Landscaping, we take pride in our ability to enhance outdoor spaces to create a functional and aesthetic retreat. The “Putting Green” is an embodiment of this mission statement. Situated in the picturesque Florence area, our team was hired to design and build a custom putting green for a family that wanted to improve their backyard experience. The started with a lot of planning, including a site visit to decide where to put the putting green for maximum sunlight and drainage. We decided to use a high-quality synthetic turf that mimics the natural grass and feel to enhance the users’ experience. The green features a few segregated rises and slopes to challenge the best while also being fun for less-experienced users. We also installed some natural stone edging to make it aesthetically pleasing with its natural surroundings. Finally, we installed a strong, durable, and weather-resistant fence to provide privacy; that was important to the client. During the installation we encountered issues with soil and drainage. Our professionally trained crew remedied this by building a sub-surface drainage system to ensure the putting green would be there for years to come. The finished product far exceeded the clients’ expectations and turned their backyard into an outdoor golfer’s paradise. The vibrant green became not only a functional recreational area for the family but also a beautiful look and feel in their landscape theme. The very happy client is now thrilled to spend countless hours with their family having fun in their newly landscaped backyard.
