About This Project

The Apartment Living and Dining Room project at Whisper Creek Luxury Apartments in Morgantown, West Virginia, was designed with the unique needs of a college student transitioning into independent living. Spanning 910 square feet, this 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom apartment was transformed into a stylish yet functional space that reflects the young adult’s personality and lifestyle. During our initial consultation, we explored the client’s design preferences and spatial requirements. Taking precise measurements, we developed a comprehensive understanding of how to best utilize the available space. The design approach embraced an eclectic style, incorporating a mix of textures, colors, and patterns to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our inspiration board featured various design elements, from vibrant textiles to contemporary art pieces, all aimed at enhancing the character of the living and dining areas. The project included the selection of high-quality materials such as durable hardwood flooring complemented by plush area rugs, which defined separate zones in the open-concept layout. We chose a color palette that harmonized energetic accents with calming neutrals, ensuring the space was both lively and relaxing. Lighting played a crucial role, with the incorporation of modern fixtures that provided ample illumination while adding a touch of sophistication. Once the concept was finalized, we provided the client with a detailed 3D rendering of her apartment. This visualization allowed her to fully grasp the potential of her space and how each design element would come together cohesively. The final outcome not only met her expectations but exceeded them, showcasing a well-organized and aesthetically pleasing apartment. The client was thrilled with the transformation, feeling empowered to embrace her new living situation with confidence and style.
