In 2021, we had the privilege of transforming a dated kitchen into a stunning transitional space that perfectly aligns with our client's vision. The remodel began with a thorough evaluation of the existing layout, which featured an island that was ultimately too small for effective use. To enhance functionality and flow, we reconfigured the island into a spacious peninsula, allowing for a seamless transition between cooking and dining areas. The new design not only maximized the use of space but also provided a more inviting atmosphere for gatherings. One of the key elements of this remodel was the relocation of the refrigerator to a different wall, which opened up the kitchen and made room for a newly installed pantry adjacent to it. This strategic move improved accessibility and organization, catering to the client's needs for both storage and convenience. Throughout the kitchen, we installed brand new white cabinets that exude a sense of modern elegance while maintaining a classic appeal. The crisp white finish complements the overall aesthetic and enhances the feeling of spaciousness. The centerpiece of the kitchen remodel is undoubtedly the quartz Calacatta Barcelona countertop and backsplash. This luxurious material brings a touch of sophistication, with its striking veining and polished surface. To ensure a clean and contemporary look, we relocated the backsplash outlets and installed power strip outlets beneath the cabinets, eliminating clutter and allowing the beautiful quartz to take center stage. To illuminate this stunning space, we incorporated LED lighting under the cabinets, providing both task lighting and an ambient glow that highlights the craftsmanship and design choices made throughout the remodel. The outcome is a beautifully cohesive kitchen that blends functionality with style, creating an inviting environment for both cooking and entertaining.
