In the heart of Oak Park, IL, a remarkable transformation took place as we reimagined a spacious primary bedroom and bathroom into a serene, cohesive retreat. By thoughtfully reallocating space from the oversized primary bedroom, we created a luxurious spa-like bathroom that perfectly complements the restful ambiance of the sleeping area. The design approach for the primary bedroom embraces a color-saturated palette, with soothing blue tones that evoke tranquility and relaxation. This calming hue flows seamlessly into the bathroom, where we selected Cle Zelliage Tile, known for its exquisite texture and character, elevating the overall aesthetic of the space. The craftsmanship in this project is evident in the meticulous attention to detail, particularly in the custom white oak vanity that serves as a striking focal point. This choice not only enhances the warmth of the bathroom but also provides ample storage while maintaining an uncluttered look. The interplay of materials—between the rich textures of the Cle Zelliage Tile and the natural elegance of the white oak—creates a harmonious balance that is both inviting and stylish. Lighting plays a crucial role in this design, with carefully selected fixtures that illuminate the space without overwhelming its serenity.
