Ranch by Terra Bella Signature Landscaping LLC The 'Ranch ' by Terra Bella Signature Landscaping LLC, situated in the stunning mountains surrounding Henderson, captures the essence of the combination of nature and craftsmanship. The extensive was developed to change the typical ranch space into a welcoming retreat, retaining the rugged characteristics of the surrounding Nevada lands. Our team accepted the opportunity to preserve the existing, natural contours and add elements that would fit with the environment for the area. The Ranch consisted of many aspects, one being a large xeriscape garden containing drought-resistant plants, such as desert marigolds and agave, which would limit water without compromising sustainability. To increase the character of the space, we added rustic pathways made from flagstone that would come from a locally-sourced provider, which enhanced the design without lost construction value. Another enjoyable feature of the was a custom fire pit, made with locally sourced boulders to create a shared space for families and friends. The placement of native trees was also ideal for both shaded areas and maintaining a privacy feel for the people who would use the yard. An irrigation system combined with the installation of the landscape showed commitment to quality and efficiency of plant longevity. The Ranch surely had challenges when it came to working in rocky soil conditions, as well as different levels of elevation throughout the landscape; however; our team members made quick decisions on adding modifications such as grading soil down on higher elevations and amendments on rocky levels, allowing the team to achieve a well balanced, compared to the rest of the yard. The completed was a working ranch retreat that exemplified our client's expectations and more. The harmony of function and natural beauty replicates our philosophy of quality yard design. The Ranch created value for the property as well as recreational space for relaxation and enjoyment with nature.
