Located in Atherton, Hillsborough, Palo Alto, and beyond, this affirms our commitment to exquisite design and high-quality workmanship. Initially, the site presented a number of challenges starting with a sloped site littered with existing vegetation. We incorporated native plants and drought-tolerant materials including permeable pavers and salvared wood whilst creating a landscape that resonates with the natural ecosystem around it. In a carefully curated plan, a sinuous path embedded with local granite boulders leads to a peaceful sitting area framed by verdant plantings. During the process of design and construction, we needed to elevate our methods of landscaping while being respectful of the natural ecosystem our clients reside in. Our talented craftsman implemented drainage systems to ease potential erosion and increase water efficiency in the landscape to allow the landscape to establish and thrive with ease of upkeep. Additionally, custom-built raised garden beds made from sustainable materials create the perfect setting for clients to enjoy beautiful flowers as well as vegetables grown at home. All in all, 'During Construction' resulted in an inspiring outdoor escape for our clients to enjoy while coordinating family functions or relaxing. Pathway lighting and garden accents resonates with other features of the as it relates to client vision. The final exhibits the level of excellence Shaping and Restoring provides as a landscaping company for design and execution of beautiful, sustainable environments.
