The S. 4th Street Project, located in the vibrant Bouldin Creek neighborhood of central Austin, represents a seamless blend of modern design and functional elegance. This newly constructed home, crafted by Guardian Custom Builders, serves as a welcoming retreat for clients who recently relocated from the Pacific Northwest. The project scope encompassed comprehensive furnishing, artwork, and decor solutions for the downstairs living and dining areas, ensuring a cohesive and inviting environment. A standout feature of the living room is the Venetian plastered accent wall, which introduces an element of texture and warmth, enhancing the space’s overall aesthetic. This sophisticated treatment not only adds depth to the room but also complements the natural light that flows through the expansive windows. To further elevate the dining area, custom drapery panels were meticulously designed and installed, creating a sense of separation from the living space while harmonizing beautifully with the kitchen’s selected backsplash tiles. This thoughtful integration of design elements fosters a unified look that is both stylish and functional. In addition to the furnishings and decor, the project included the transformation of an underutilized nook beneath the staircase into a bespoke built-in bar area.
