All of this extensive landscaping renovation was intended to improve not just the beauty of the homeowners' home, but also the practical side of their landscape for their particular needs. We started with a thorough evaluation of the current site, which was comprised of thick brush and unlevel ground. The main objective was to design a welcoming outdoor sanctuary that would be a destination for family get-togethers and leisurely moments. In doing so, we planted multiple native species to encourage biodiversity and also minimize maintenance. Located in the heart of the , perennial flower beds, colourful bursts of natural beauty throughout the seasons. We also added a custom stone walk created in natural bluestone to bring permanence and accessibility to the garden. The most serious challenge we had to deal with though was levelling off the land and making sure the drain as well. Using a full grading solution our experts made sure water goes where it needs to go and will prevent floods in the future. We also built a beautiful retaining wall made from local granite boulders, adding function as well as beauty to the landscape. The end product is a lovely, harmonious outdoor space that successfully marries hardscaping with nature. The client was delighted with the result, raving that the new extension has already become the hub for all family activities and get-togethers.
