A New Classic - Green & White Landscape by Green Estates Landscape & Garden In the beautiful neighborhoods of Richmond, Green Estates Landscape & Garden showcased their 'A New Classic - Green & White Landscape' to reveal their brilliant remodel that featured a beautiful blend of sophistication and timeless charm. This was a true representation of our commitment to service and craftsmanship for the communities we serve, including Bon Air, Glen Allen, Henrico, Lakeside, Midlothian, Short Pump, Tuckahoe, University of Richmond, Wyndham, West End, Windsor Farms, and The Fan. This garden design beautifully highlighted deep green foliage and captivating white elements. It was easy to see from the stunning bluestone patio that this garden had been expertly crafted with eye-catching plants and intricate to really focus on a stunning outdoor retreat. The custom white wooden trellises featuring climbing jasmine and clematis added vertical interest and fragrant blooms in an otherwise flat environment. As this demonstrates, sustainable landscaping practices remain an important aspect of our work. We used a majority of native plant material that thrives in the Richmond climate, which in turn contributes to local biodiversity and an overall low maintenance program. The use of quality mulch and stone to define garden edges kept the garden intact by reducing moisture loss, extending the functional beauty of the install while adding a little touch of quality from a craftsmanship view. A challenge within the scope of this install was the topography, which required grading and drainage in a few areas to eliminate standing water and protect the installation from integrity loss. Our skilled team overcame this challenge and stayed true to original expectations for a beautiful install. The end result was truly spectacular. The clients were so happy with the remodel, as it not only improved the curb appeal of the property but gave them the ability to enjoy working in their own garden.
