The Updated Walls project encompassed a comprehensive transformation of a traditional dining room, enhancing both its aesthetic appeal and functional quality. Commencing in 2022, this project was executed with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the room was addressed to create a harmonious and inviting space. The scope of work included the installation of new trim, doors, frames, crown molding, chair rail, baseboard, and wainscoting, all carefully selected to complement the existing design and enhance the room's character. Prior to commencing the painting process, all work areas were meticulously prepared and covered with plastic and tarps to safeguard the flooring and furniture from any potential damage. Our skilled craftsmen diligently caulked all cracks and filled nail holes, ensuring a flawless surface for painting. The bare wood was primed to create an optimal base, followed by a thorough sanding and scuff-sanding to eliminate surface imperfections and achieve a smooth finish. This foundational work laid the groundwork for the application of two coats of high-quality paint, carefully selected in collaboration with the client to reflect their desired color scheme and enhance the room's traditional charm. The end result was a stunning transformation that breathed new life into the dining room, showcasing elegant updated walls that seamlessly blend functionality with style.
