Outdoor Living Spaces by Tru Vine Design Tru Vine Design is excited to share the patio design we recently completed for a discerning client in Boca Raton, Florida. The beautifies and enhances the property while providing a functional space for outdoor enjoyment. The began with a thorough design consultation to better understand the client's vision which included both modern elegance and natural beauty. During this collaborative process, we sourced and hand-selected high quality materials; porcelain tiles that has the warmth and beauty of natural stone paired with rich, contoured wood decking to juxtapose the cool surface of the manufactured material. In the design of the patio, we were able to frame a custom built pergola structure to provide a shaded area as well as create visual interest in each of the design elements. As a finishing touch - outdoor LED lights were strategically placed in the structure and the landscape vegetation to enrich evening entertainment. One of the challenges was the area had elevation challenges and a lot of work went into preparing the site and installing a drainage system to manage runoff. Our landscaper was able to create a sort of puzzling affect for this elevation change by leveling some areas and keeping others more natural while considering the surrounding landscape vegetation. Finally, during the , we were able to incorporate lush landscape vegetation which provides a variety of native plants and drought resistant vegetation types to the design. Plant selections are needed for the climate and have an interesting aesthetic. In this case it also serves a dual purpose for the client, to maximize beauty and ecological/outdoor biodiversity. In conclusion, we created a wonderful, beautiful patio space that connects with the architecture, provides a warm and inviting space with which our client has enjoyed first with family gatherings and more intimate, evenings. In the end, the quality craft of construction, the attention to detail, and the transformative work of nature culminated into an outdoor living space that exemplified outdoor living.
