About This Project

Patios and Stonework by Rustic Wall We at Rustic Wall recently finished a beautiful landscaping called Patios and Stonework that transformed a residential backyard into an extraordinary retreat. Serving the communities of Lewisville, Highland Village, Flower Mound and beyond, the focus of this particular was to improve utility and appearance. This consisted of a large, multi-leveled patio made from durable, natural flagstone that fit easily into the existing landscape. The homeowners loved the natural look and feel of the patio we designed, produced with a combined natural color palette that adorned warm earth tones fitting to the existing landscape. To enhance the patio, we designed a few beautiful stone paths that led guests from the patio through flower plantings of seasonal flowers and ornamental or perennial plantings. One challenge we faced respective to the layout of this property was the slope of the property, which historically had caused drainage issues. In order to effectively manage drainage and runoff, our team of skilled craftsmen designed and built a beautiful series of levels using retaining walls made from locally sourced stone. In addition to solving drainage issues, the new multi-leveled patio and retaining walls created another beautiful element to the landscape. The also included custom seating areas and fire pits, which were positioned together with the use of artificial light, allowing the homeowners to observe the lighting during daylight hours and experience the outdoor spaces day and night. Every part of the plan, processing, production and installation adhered to our high standards. In conclusion, this resulted in a beautiful space that the homeowners loved and could untilize as a quiet retreat or entertaining space. Rustic Wall once again has demonstrated the level of our commitment to quality and care in creating beautiful and useful landscapes for the landscapes of our homes in Denton, Plano, Frisco, Allen and beyond.
