Originally, the plaster walls had been compromised by ongoing leaks and subsequently covered with drywall in the 1990s. Upon inspection, it was clear that the underlying wallpaper and mold needed to be addressed to restore the integrity of the space. Our team began the project by carefully removing the drywall, allowing us to access the original plaster walls and assess the extent of the damage. Once the drywall was removed, we encountered mold, a direct result of the persistent water infiltration. We took immediate action to treat and eliminate the mold, ensuring a safe environment before proceeding with repairs. With the mold eradicated, we focused on the wallpaper removal, carefully peeling it away to reveal the beautifully textured plaster beneath.
