Synopsis: Landscape Lighting for a Victorian Home by Primal Outdoor Lighting & Design Situated in the center of King County, this remarkable Victorian home has turned into a nighttime masterpiece through our exterior lighting services. Primal Outdoor Lighting & Design took on the task of enhancing the architectural appeal of the house while creating a comfortable and functional outdoor living environment. In designing the lighting system, we highlighted the home's unique features, such as its elaborately gabled roof, detailed woodwork, and beautiful gardens that captured the Victorian character. We specified durable and beautiful LED fixtures, in warm colors, to create a complex sophisticated glow to highlight the detailing throughout the house while remaining energy efficient. We were able to position uplights in strategic locations to highlight the impressive structure of the house while path lights illuminated the winding pathways clearly, making them accessible for guests strolling past the beautiful seasonal plantings. One particular challenge we faced was with the uneven ground that surrounded the house which required custom lighting design to illuminate the home while maintaining untouched natural landscaping. Our team was able to take advantage of creative techniques, including adjustable fixtures, to ensure every aspect of the home and garden would look fabulous while remaining visible and safe. Finally, we created another spectacular down-lit image that increased curb appeal while creating a lovely ambience for The homeowner was ecstatic with both the craftsmanship and placement of lighting in the landscape design.
