About This Project

Hannon Armstrong Green Oasis LLC is pleased to present the landscaping Hannon Armstrong that significantly upgraded a backyard in San Antonio, Texas. The client's goal was to expand the outdoor living space of their contemporary home, while also to create a peaceful environment where they could escape and have some connection to nature. The plant selections consist of curated selections of various local natives that are sustainable for the climate and won't require a great deal of maintenance. Our team had different and durable hardscape features to complement the garden design, including a flagstone and gravel path that flows through a series of lush garden beds that transition seamlessly between the home and nature. The exceptional use of high-quality natural stone on the patio area adds immediate class to the yard while withstanding the elements. One of the primary challenges during the landscape installation was the sloping site condition. Our team designed a series of tiered flower beds using retaining walls built with local stone to stabilize the slope and create some beauty. Not only did our design leave room for planting but, the drainage was maxed out across the landscape to avoid issues with water runoff. The highlight feature of the Hannon Armstrong is the custom designed outdoor living space that includes a fire pit and seating to promote relaxation and togetherness. Our team incorporated materials designed to weather the elements so the homeowners can enjoy their yard throughout the year. At the completion of the , the final result was better than the client's expectations and gave them a vibrant retreat in their backyard. The aesthetically rich garden area combines hardscape and softscape features and our commitment to quality in the resulted in the design not only add value to the property, but also add to the quality of life of the people who will inhabit the space.
