About This Project

Beyond the Backdoor This 'Beyond the Backdoor' landscaping was aimed at changing an otherwise ordinary backyard space into an outdoor living retreat in the wonderful neighborhood community of Jenks. Hard work by our team to when to designed a perfect balance of function and form, and the interior was made a space not just that allows beautiful vibes to add to the hinterland property, it also becomes the perfect hideaway for the family. The showcased beautiful landscaping, including a custom stone patio that provides a perfect gathering spot. Given the toughness and natural aesthetics of Oklahoma sandstone, it became our choice for the patio since it blended nicely with its surroundings. Along with the patio, we built a custom fire pit with beautiful, weather-proof seating for evenings spent under the stars. Besides the hardscaping, we included softscapes with beautiful gardens that were rich in a wide variety of plants that were native to the growing conditions. One major challenge we had to contend with was a slope, and we managed to turn this into a series of tiered garden beds which were not only much more accessible, both from a gardening point of view and for viewing and admiring the garden, but visually interesting as well. We enriched the soil with quality soil amendments and mulch to sustain the plantings and provide seasonal splashes of color and texture. For this , we installed energy efficient LED lights that showcase the landscape at night and provide safety and ambiance. The end result was a stunning retreat that thrilled our clients who will now enjoy stunning outdoor living, entertaining, relaxation, and natural experiences right outside their back door.
