Northwest Beach Garden Waterfront Landscape Incredible New Level of Coastal Lavishness Northwest Beach Garden Waterfront Landscape by Northwest Construction & Landscape, LLC Perched on the shorelines of beautiful Bainbridge Island, this set out to combine a balance of the natural beauty with functional outdoor living space. The plan consists of a sculptural arrangement of native plants, including colorful coastal grasses and flowering perennials, that blend into their environment. Retaining walls constructed with local stone add a sense of permanence while also bringing an aged texture that echoes the waterfront views. A hand-crafted natural timber deck leads from the home and provides a relaxing and entertaining area while the spectacular sunsets over the water are enjoyed. We had given considerable thought to addressing the site's natural drainage systems and ensuring that water could be managed appropriately without the use of vegetation cover spoiling the visual impact of the landscape. We installed new drainage systems interspersed with boulders to direct the flow of water as opposed to away from, from the garden, which results in erosion and damage. The end product is a peaceful beach front oasis with winding paths enhanced by solar lighting which makes for an incredible nighttime stroll. With a strong emphasis on quality craftsmanship and attention to detail, the client is completely satisfied with their new oasis offering a peaceful retreat and enhancing outdoor living space while enjoying the Pacific northwest surroundings.
