The Elevated Farmhouse Kitchen project in Ham Lake, MN, is a stunning testament to the charm of modern farmhouse design, seamlessly blending functionality and aesthetics. This remodel transformed a previously closed-off kitchen, which lacked insulation and was disconnected from the dining and living areas, into a bright and inviting space that serves as the heart of the home. One of the significant challenges addressed was the presence of a vent pipe that restricted layout options. Rather than removing it, our design team ingeniously boxed it in, allowing for a more cost-effective solution while maintaining the necessary functionality. The eat-in nook, once inconvenient and cramped, has been revitalized into a spacious walk-in pantry, complete with open shelving that provides easy access to baking supplies and kitchen essentials. This new pantry not only enhances storage capacity but also allows natural light to filter in through its window, creating an airy atmosphere that harmonizes with the kitchen's overall design. The centerpiece of the kitchen is a large island featuring a Hale Navy base, topped with elegant granite that adds a touch of sophistication. Brushed gold hardware complements the rich color palette, infusing warmth and a modern flair into the space. The cabinetry, carefully selected to reflect contemporary farmhouse aesthetics, replaces the outdated units, providing ample storage while enhancing the kitchen's visual appeal. Craftsmanship was a priority throughout the remodel, ensuring that every detail, from the selection of materials to the final finishes, reflects quality and durability.
