The Master Bathroom expansion project, initiated in 2022, transformed a cramped space into a luxurious retreat that perfectly marries functionality with elegance. Clients sought to eliminate their outdated "Superman phone booth" shower, which offered minimal space and comfort. The goal was to create a more spacious and inviting bathroom that would serve as a personal sanctuary, enhancing both daily routines and the overall aesthetic of their home in Nashville. The design process began with an emphasis on maximizing the bathroom's layout. By removing the constrictive shower enclosure, we were able to expand the area significantly, allowing for a stunning walk-in shower equipped with a rainfall showerhead and seamless glass doors. The new design integrates a freestanding soaking tub that adds a touch of spa-like luxury, positioned strategically to take advantage of natural light from a nearby window. Choosing high-quality materials was crucial for achieving the desired outcome. The flooring features elegant porcelain tiles that mimic the look of natural stone while providing durability and easy maintenance. Custom cabinetry in a soft, neutral hue complements the space, providing ample storage without sacrificing style. The countertops are crafted from exquisite quartz, offering both beauty and resilience against daily wear and tear. Attention to detail is evident throughout the project. We incorporated modern fixtures with brushed nickel finishes, which enhance the overall aesthetic while ensuring functionality. The lighting design was carefully curated, utilizing recessed lights and stylish sconces to create a warm ambiance that is both inviting and practical. The result is a breathtaking Master Bathroom that exceeds the clients’ expectations, combining sophisticated design with superior craftsmanship.
