The Bolder House project transformed a charming two-bedroom home in Joshua Tree into a stunning retreat that seamlessly blends relaxation and functionality. Purchased by a young family looking to establish a second home and rental business, the property is nestled among dramatic boulders and lush vegetation, providing an idyllic setting for guests seeking respite from everyday life. The original structure, which boasted solid foundations, retained its essence while undergoing thoughtful expansions, including a spacious living room area, an additional third bedroom, and a second bathroom to enhance comfort and convenience. One of the most exciting aspects of this renovation was the integration of the casita, previously a separate entity, into the main house's roofing system.
