About This Project

The Copper Mountain Ski Condo project transformed a dated 1970s unit into a modern mountain retreat, fulfilling the owners' desire for a spacious and inviting atmosphere. Recognizing the potential within the existing layout, we embarked on a strategic renovation that involved the careful removal of select walls, effectively opening up the kitchen and living areas to create a seamless flow throughout the space. This approach not only increased the functional square footage but also enhanced the overall aesthetic appeal, making the condo perfect for both relaxation and entertainment. In the bathroom, we made a striking statement by incorporating Bedrosians Metro 2.0 Cloudsky floor tile, which provides a fresh, light foundation that contrasts beautifully with the vibrant Makoto Harashi Blue wall tile. This combination introduces both color and geometric excitement, elevating the design to a contemporary standard. The WestElm stained wood vanity adds a touch of natural warmth, skillfully offsetting the crisp grid patterns of the tiles. A significant improvement was achieved by removing the dividing wall between the vanity and toilet, which not only enlarges the room but also eliminates the awkwardness of navigating around obstacles, creating a more open and user-friendly environment. Throughout the entire renovation process, our focus was on quality craftsmanship and the selection of premium materials to ensure durability and style. Each element of the design was thoughtfully curated to reflect a modern aesthetic while still maintaining the cozy charm characteristic of a mountain getaway. The outcome is a ski condo that no longer resembles its former self as a typical rental; instead, it stands as a sophisticated and welcoming retreat, ready to host family and friends for years to come. This project not only enhances the living experience but also increases the property’s value, making it a wise investment for the owners.
