Spicewood Ranch is a remarkable transformation of a 1990s home nestled in the picturesque landscape of Spicewood Springs, TX. The new homeowners, returning to their Texas roots after years in California, envisioned a casual yet luxurious retreat for family gatherings. With a strong commitment to green building techniques, the remodel seamlessly blends sustainable practices with high-end finishes, resulting in a residence that is both environmentally conscious and aesthetically stunning. The project scope involved extensive renovations, including the addition of a new guest wing and dedicated “His” master bath and closet, designed to enhance both functionality and comfort. The main house underwent a complete overhaul, featuring a state-of-the-art kitchen equipped with a concealed pantry, ensuring an uncluttered and streamlined cooking space. The new powder room, expansive great room, and a sophisticated media room with a hidden AV closet were crafted to promote relaxation and entertainment, making it the ideal setting for family reunions and social gatherings. An emphasis on luxury is evident in the design choices throughout the home, particularly in the “Her” master bath, where sumptuous materials and modern fixtures create a spa-like atmosphere. The integration of a custom wine room adds an exclusive touch, allowing for curated collections to be showcased and enjoyed. The outdoor landscaping complements the natural beauty of the ranch, providing inviting spaces for outdoor activities and relaxation, while the addition of a foreman’s house ensures functionality for the property management.
