OLG Hardscape The 'OLG Hardscape ' has been designed and completed by the highly regarded Outside Landscape Group, and showcases the marriage of design and beauty to function in the construct of outdoor spaces. The site is located within the lively neighborhoods of Alpharetta and Roswell where the property was transformed into a beautiful outdoor escape from an ordinary suburban backyard. The highlighted detailed design in various hardscape aspects: a multi-level stone patio, customized retaining walls, and a radical fire pit location for night time gatherings. The selected materials were both of high quality and sought after in natural materials showcasing flagstone and pavers that met the desired expectations of design, longevity, and function for the outdoor habitat. As with many s, a challenge navigated in the design stage was the nature of sloped property. With the need to engineer level spaces in the backyard, the integrity of the natural landscaping was to be preserved. The team met the design challenges with consideration for the drainage system to limit water pooled and erosion for the installation. The end result was a spatial and visual equilibrium of space and plantings that framed the hardscape detail and provided an overall calming environment to congregate and enjoy. The clients expressed a satisfied experience and commented on the ultimate transformation of ordinary space into an organization of luxurious outdoor atmosphere. The final detail and design was exciting and fulfilling for Outside Landscape Group to improve outdoor living in the Atlanta region.
