Originally purchased as a starter home in 1992, the property evolved alongside its inhabitants, from a young couple to a bustling family of four, and eventually to empty nesters eager to revitalize their cherished space. The project, titled "A Client's Perspective," was initiated in 2022, with a budget between $150,001 and $200,000 aimed at reimagining the inefficient layout that had long stifled the home’s potential. The homeowners recognized that one of the smallest rooms in their house, previously a haphazard space that shifted in function according to need, could be transformed into a purposeful area. The design process began with a thorough assessment of the existing layout, revealing the need for a more open and inviting environment. By removing non-structural walls, the project team created a seamless flow between the kitchen and living areas, enhancing both functionality and aesthetics.
