About This Project

The Contemporary Primary Bathroom project in Sewickley, PA, represents a transformative approach to modern bathroom design, tailored to meet the specific needs of our clients who recently acquired their home. Initially, the open concept layout of the primary suite's bathroom featured half walls that created disjointed spaces for the shower, tub, and water closet, leading to a lack of privacy and functionality. To enhance the overall experience, we reimagined the space with a focus on comfort and elegance, opting for a large dual shower that not only provides ample room but also fosters a more private atmosphere. Retaining the vanity's original location, we meticulously updated the cabinetry to create a symmetrical arrangement of sinks, enhancing both aesthetics and practicality. This redesign allowed for improved storage solutions while incorporating a stunning custom-framed mirror that echoes the cabinetry's finish, further unifying the design. The addition of pendant lighting above the vanity not only illuminates the space but also adds a touch of sophistication, seamlessly blending form and function. On the opposing side of the bathroom, we reconfigured the layout to maximize space and usability. The small tub was removed, enabling us to enlarge the water closet significantly. This adjustment allowed for the installation of a dedicated storage cabinet and the introduction of a pocket door, which enhances privacy without sacrificing style. The enlarged shower now accommodates two individuals comfortably, equipped with dual showering capabilities featuring two elegant shower heads, ensuring a luxurious experience. The craftsmanship employed throughout the project is evident in the careful selection of materials and attention to detail, resulting in a cohesive and contemporary design that resonates with our clients' vision. The completed bathroom not only meets their needs for privacy and functionality but also elevates the aesthetic appeal of their primary suite, making it a personal sanctuary that they can enjoy for years to come.
