The Greska Nursery project exemplifies a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal, designed specifically for the needs of a vibrant community in Boston. This nursery was envisioned as a nurturing space where children can engage with nature while fostering their creativity and learning. The project scope included the complete renovation of the existing facility, with a focus on creating dynamic indoor and outdoor environments that stimulate exploration and play. In crafting the design, our team prioritized open spaces that encourage interaction and collaboration among children. The layout incorporates various learning zones, each with its unique theme and purpose, allowing for both structured activities and free play. Natural light floods the classrooms through large windows, enhancing the cheerful atmosphere and creating a connection with the outdoor garden areas. The use of vibrant colors and child-friendly materials throughout the interiors fosters a sense of warmth and welcome, essential for early childhood development. For the outdoor spaces, we selected durable, eco-friendly materials that not only withstand the rigors of play but also align with sustainable practices.
