"Standing Still": Eco Harmony Landscape & Design, LLC. Eco Harmony Landscape & Design, LLC. is excited to present "Standing Still," a landscaping that we recently completed in the heart of Milwaukee. This magical outdoor paradise was designed to relate closely to the area, while providing a peaceful place for our clients to spend time outdoors. The features multiple layering of native plantings, including colorful perennials and ornamental grasses that can be easily cared for over time. We utilized natural stone pathways from a local quarry that added a rustic feel and practicality to the overall . The stunning 'water' feature with a pergola overflowing with water is also the central rhythmic sound of water that one can easily fall asleep to while relaxing beside it. One of our unique challenges was the impracticality of slope (for a rain garden) and shade from many large trees. The design overcame this hurdle by creating tiered beds as a design feature, which also helped with drainage. Once the landscaping came together, we added future-facing lighting to the which makes the bucolic surroundings shine at night and entice evening patrons to dine outside. Overall, the finished product is a brilliant mix of beauty and practicality for clients to enjoy. "Standing Still" is more than just landscaping; it is a "place" designed to contemplate and enjoy.
