Cape Cod in Highland Park, Texas M. M. Moore Construction Company, Inc. is proud to present the Cape Cod in Highland Park , a marvelous transformation that was achieved by bringing the New England coastal experience into the lush Texan environment. Located in prestigious Highland Park, this was a thoughtful and precise accomplishment that demonstrated our commitment to high quality landscaping and design. The design incorporated native Texan plantings along with classic Cape Cod features like groomed hedgerows, bright flower beds, and ornamental trees that add beauty and some shade. High quality materials numbers in the design, such as natural stone paving and composite decking, were utilized for their longevity and aesthetics. Permeable pavers contributed quality and helped to address drainage issues while facilitating rainwater to replenish the surrounding soil. A notable challenge was the semi-undulating grade that existed, requiring grading and soil amendment in order to develop a seamless and welcoming plan. Our crews onsite work through all of these challenges with their landscape knowledge and knowledge of plantings. The end result is a stunning outdoor oasis complete with a custom fire pit, comfortable chairs for seating, and fires to entertain family and friends. A serene water feature provides peacefulness to the space as would the ambient lights demonstrating the garden pathways come night time.
