Once the excavation phase was completed, we then introduced quality materials into the design to add character and functionality to the landscape. We used pavers for the patio for durability and natural stone edging to provide character and quality elements. We incorporated a keystone of native plants and shrubbery to increase the work of the landscape to add biodiversity of flora and improve drainage as well. The native plants were selected to be hardy and provide visual interest in the ENUMCLAW climate. The encountered weather difficulties throughout the process of completing the landscape. Then unexpected rain would have potentially intruded on our schedule by taking longer than expected, as well as damaging our completed efforts already on the ground.
