About This Project

Customized Garage - Antioch, IL Mack Land, LLC successfully completed the ‘Custom Garage’ in Antioch, IL, demonstrating our ability to flawlessly integrate landscaping and design. The work was more than just constructing a garage; it was an opportunity to improve the home’s aesthetics and functionality. We started the by evaluating the site for its topography and existing flora, which would provide opportunities to enhance the areas near the home. Our team created a beautifully detailed paver walkway leading to the garage, using high-end material that gave a durable, weather-resistant finish and complemented the exterior of the home as well. The walkway area was beautifully accented by seasonal perennial plants and native shrubs. The most significant challenge we encountered was the sloping terrain that surrounded the garage area. Our team leveled this area, allowing the landscaping to create proper drainage and stability. To ensure there were no pooling areas, we designed an adequate drainage system using natural stone and gravel to mitigate any concerns over running water from the adjacent hills and during the wet seasons. This provided an avenue for water runoff away from the garage, while protecting the new landscaped areas. Besides the functional portions of the , we added decorative features alongside the garage. We constructed a stone sided wall that added visual interest, while providing stability for the raised garden beds. Each of the new beds was filled with drought-tolerant plants to limit maintenance while providing a lush background for the landscaping in the surrounding area. The end result pleased the Client by turning a simple garage into a beautiful focal point increasing the overall charm of the property. Mack Land, LLC proved our commitment to fine detail and high-end finishes. This met and exceeded our Client's desires resulting in an integrated functional space complete with natural beauty.
