Summary: GATHER INTO THE DUSK GATHER INTO THE DUSK was a Premier Landscape & Outdoor Living that incorporated a full renovation of the landscape into a beautiful space focused on tranquility and making a connection with nature. As is the case with all of our s in this area, this was conceived in Summit County, Colorado, which is located in one of our service areas. This reflects everything that we are quality & creativity, meticulous, detailed craftsmanship. The began with a thorough design consultation. We sat down with the homeowners and became personally engaged in the process to understand their vision of an outdoor retreat focused on peace and relaxation. Our design team developed an outdoor living, multi-functional area with a custom stone fire pit and both private and open seating made from durable, locally sourced materials. The warmth of the fire pit is provided with accompanying seating areas for evening gatherings. We also included LED lights, and the homeowner used string lights, so there was no shortage of light illuminating the paths and plants leading around the garden. The included some challenges including the topography of the yard which sloped significantly downhill. We utilized that slope as an opportunity to install tiered garden beds with locally sourced native plants and ornamental grasses that thrive in the incredible weather offered in Colorado. This also provided some depth, interest, and effective drainage when watering the plants and the plants grew and matured during the seasons. We chose and hand selected a pallet of perennials that are dry climate with a supporting cast of vibrant annuals to ensure colors and blooms throughout the planned seasons. The included a modest water feature (not an enormous pond, but a pond) that included some bubbling up and over with a small waterfall. We pictured a calming spot by the pond to engage with the local wildlife while giving off a gentle relaxing sound ambiently in the morning or evening. Either time you choose to use the space, you will always feel at peace in your garden. The overall result was more than we could have imagined (and their exorbitantly high expectations!). The incorporation of hardscaping and softscaping brought a new level of detail that provided, along with the all-around design, a beautiful setting for families and friends for years to come. After kicking off the family-style gatherings on their property, both the homeowners and guests tipped with a casual drink in one hand and their family and friends huddled around a warm outdoor fire pit, shared laughs under the stars for years and generations of memories.
