About This Project

The Arabescus & Alabaster project showcases a harmonious blend of craftsmanship and design, meticulously executed by Curtis Rice of Countertops By Design. At the heart of this transformation are the stunning inset custom cabinets, elegantly finished in Sherwin Williams "Alabaster." These cabinets are complemented by island cabinetry from Dura Supreme Cabinetry, featuring the Reese door style crafted from maple and stained in a warm Cashew hue. Curtis's artistry shines through his attention to detail, particularly in his bespoke approach to the interiors of three countertop larder cabinets, which were ingeniously converted into pocket doors, seamlessly enhancing both functionality and visual appeal. The natural Arabescus White honed marble provided by EPIC Stone, LLC serves as a striking centerpiece, featuring a full marble splash behind the stove that adds a touch of luxury to the culinary space. This is skillfully paired with TileBar Manchester Bianco White 3x12 Subway Glazed Ceramic Wall Tiles, installed in a sophisticated herringbone pattern by Norton Ceramic Tile, creating a dynamic visual interest that elevates the overall aesthetic. The design ethos extends to the choice of finishes, where a beautiful mix of metals comes into play. The dark bronze lighting fixtures perfectly contrast with the Top Knobs Channing pulls and knobs in a graceful Honey Bronze finish. Plumbing fixtures in the Rook style by Brizo Faucet, finished in Luxe Gold, add an additional layer of elegance and luxury. Flooring provided and installed by Rheinschmidt's Flooring America offers a solid foundation that enhances the overall warmth and character of the space.
