The Walkway our latest epitomizes creativity and quality in landscaping. This was in the beautiful community of Bellevue, and it consisted of installing an inviting walkway that provides access from the home to the garden while adding to the creative beauty of the design. With homeowners who desired a path that is both functional and that fits their natural landscaping, the started with a great deal of planning and discussion. High end materials were chosen for durability and visual warmth natural stone pavers combined with refined river rock edging. Every piece of the pathway is hand placed and set up to drain and be stable in our Pacific Northwest climate. The property is sloped; that was one of the bigger challenges. Our talented landscapers designed a gentle slope and used retaining walls from local timber for delineation while stopping soil from washing down hill. Not only did this increase the safety of the walkway, but it also gave an organic feel to the design. The result was a beautiful path that gracefully flows through the middle of the garden, scattered with a few carefully positioned native plants and low-maintain perennials that flower over the seasons. The homeowners were super happy with the update, and said the pathway not only worked so much better functionally but also became a welcoming feature in their garden.
