About This Project

The Spa Bathroom project represents a harmonious blend of luxury and functionality, masterfully transforming a small primary bath within a grand old manse into a serene retreat. Recognized with the ASID 2023 1st Place Best Bathroom and 1st Place Best Before and After Bathroom awards, this project showcases our ability to overcome design challenges with innovative solutions. The client’s desire for a luxury flotation tub, reminiscent of an exquisite experience from a recent trip, set the stage for a creative reimagining of the space. Given the constraints of the original 75 ft² bathroom, accommodating an 84” tub seemed unattainable. However, through a thoughtful proposal to annex an adjoining guest room, we successfully expanded the area, allowing for the creation of a spa-like environment that elevates everyday bathing rituals into luxurious experiences. This transformation led to the development of two distinct yet cohesive spaces: the primary Shower Room, featuring a contemporary floating vanity and a dedicated commode area, and the Spa Bath sanctuary, designed with relaxation in mind. The design choices reflect a sophisticated aesthetic, with a cohesive black and gold color palette that unifies both spaces. The use of elegant floor and wall tiles enhances the luxurious feel while ensuring durability and ease of maintenance. Artful sconces provide ambient lighting, casting a warm glow that complements the tranquil atmosphere. At the heart of the Spa Bath, the standout Houdini glass door elegantly separates it from the Shower Area, creating a visually striking transition that emphasizes the openness and flow of the design. The culmination of meticulous craftsmanship and innovative design thinking has resulted in a Spa Bathroom that not only meets the client's desires but also elevates the overall character of the home. This project serves as a testament to our commitment to excellence in bathroom design, ensuring that every detail contributes to an unparalleled experience of comfort and luxury.
