Portage Lake Hardscape by Lawns R Us Landscaping LLC Lawns R Us Landscaping LLC is pleased to share the Portage Lake Hardscape , our latest which reflects our commitment to quality and innovative design. For the greater Akron area and beyond, we took on this full-scale landscaping to enhance an outdoor space for a lakeside property consisting of both functional and stunning elements. The expansive stone patio made from high-quality, natural bluestone would provide a durable surface for outdoor gatherings. The walkways would feature permeable pavers ensuring a long-lasting and low maintenance surface that would promote drainage and blend with the natural surroundings. Our expert team also created lovely retaining walls made of native granite sourced from the community that show off the landscape as well as provide structural integrity for the sloped area of the property. The greatest site challenge we encountered was the disproportionate elevation of the property which required designing a precise grading and drainage system to prevent erosion and ponding water. Luckily, thoughtful planning and implementation would include a precise drainage system that protects the hardscape and plants. The final part of the included installing beautiful native plantings around the hardscapes and implement a vibrant contrast to the natural beauty of the property. The generated beautiful outdoor living space that welcomed our clients with the beautiful marriage of hardscape and landscape.
