The "Shades of Grey" project represents a harmonious blend of functionality and aesthetic appeal, crafted meticulously within the heart of a family home in Franklin, TN. Tailored specifically for my sister, this kitchen design was an exciting endeavor, allowing me to incorporate her unique style and personality into every detail. Understanding her lifestyle, especially her husband's passion for cooking, we prioritized creating a culinary space that was not only visually stunning but also highly practical. The design choices reflect a commitment to rustic elegance, featuring light distressing on the cabinetry that adds character and warmth. The focal point of the cooking area is an impressive stone hood, which anchors the design and elevates the overall ambiance of the kitchen. Complementing this are leathered stone countertops that provide both durability and a touch of sophistication, making them ideal for a busy kitchen environment. The backsplash, crafted from tumbled marble, introduces a soft, textured backdrop that enhances the visual depth of the space while maintaining a timeless appeal.
