The Jamison Basement Remodel was a transformative project that extended the living space of our clients' home in Doylestown, PA, by creating a versatile and welcoming basement area. Phase one of this remodel was focused on providing a comfortable and functional space that could be utilized while extensive renovations were underway in the main areas of the house. The design goals were to ensure that the lower level not only met the immediate needs of the family but also served as a stylish and inviting extension of their home. In this contemporary basement, we incorporated a fully functional kitchenette, allowing the family to prepare meals and snacks with ease. The kitchenette was designed with sleek cabinetry and modern appliances, combining functionality with aesthetic appeal. The full bathroom was thoughtfully crafted with high-quality materials, featuring elegant fixtures and a spacious layout that maximizes comfort and convenience for both family members and guests. The lounge area was created to be a cozy retreat for entertainment, furnished with plush seating and ambient lighting to enhance relaxation and social gatherings. Adjacent to the lounge, we designed a large open playroom where the children can enjoy playtime, equipped with durable yet stylish flooring to withstand the wear and tear of active play. A dedicated dining area completes the layout, offering a space for family meals and gatherings, fostering connection and togetherness. The craftsmanship throughout this remodel emphasizes attention to detail, with seamless transitions between spaces and a cohesive design aesthetic that ties the entire basement together.
