Beautiful Natural Stone Pool Deck by American Paving Design Nestled in the center of Hilton Head Island, American Paving Design just completed a stunning landscaping , the Beautiful Natural Stone Pool Deck. This has been a labor of love to combine the beauty of nature and functional design into an outdoor sanctuary synonymous with peace and luxury. American Paving Design started by meeting with the clients to gather more specific with their vision and discuss site-specific challenges like uneven soils and access. Our team determined that high-quality natural stone was the perfect fit for the area, due to its outstanding durability, overall aesthetic appeal and seamless blend with the surrounding landscaping. The nuances of the stone's textures, packaging, and warm color tones enhanced the pool area while contrasting with the overall lush property. In lieu of the significant sloping conditions of the property, we implemented a terraced approach to enhance access and overall aesthetic appeal in the deck area itself. The deck's design also included defined lounging space with gentle curves creating communal areas for retreat and relaxation. Part of the planning process included a creative drainage approach to prevent standing water, keeping the deck safe while increasing longevity. The end result was a stunning pool deck that is not just a pretty outdoor living space, but it also has integrated lighting for the evening pool swims and gatherings. After the was complete, the client expressed how pleased they were with the finished . They too stated this would bring value to the property while also enhancing the retreat needs of families and friends.
