Deck Renovation by San Jose Tree Service & Landscaping Recently, San Jose Tree Service and Landscaping completed a stunning job called 'Deck Renovation,' transforming a space from a dull outdoor area to a charming escape that excites both functionality and design. We operate in San Jose, Cupertino, Los Gatos, and throughout the Bay Area. This effort was all breathing new life into an old deck and improving the yard around it. The work started with an evaluation of the existing structure. Our trained professionals removed the old wood deck and replaced it with a high quality composite deck capable of handling the elements of the California climate with little maintenance and a long lifespan. In addition, we installed metal railings made of stainless steel and glass to improve the outdoor experience with views and open space while making it modern. We created a seamless experience from the deck to the garden with the use of native plants and beds of flowers circling the deck. The plants were selected with fire resistance and pollinators in mind. The plants thrive in the region and provide native habitat to our local wildlife. A planter box was constructed to provide an area for the client to grow their herbs and flowers. One of our biggest challenges was leveling the uneven ground to allow for stability and support of the new deck. Our crew of dedicated workers continued to improve the site before the installation to ensure installation went off smoothly. We installed a drainage system to the location to prevent possible pooling and standing water, protecting the deck and the garden. The end state was nothing short of amazing. The renovated deck became a focus of activity for families and intimate evenings under the stars.
